Sharepoint 2010 Visio Graphic Service

Overview

The Visio Graphics Service is a SharePoint Server 2010 service application that enables dynamic viewing, refreshing, and sharing of data-driven Microsoft Visio 2010 diagrams through Visio Web Access Web part, Web part Connections, and Visio Services Mash-up API. This piece will provide high-level steps in consuming this service application.

How to do

1.     Open Visio | File | New

2.     On Data tab | click to Link Data to Shapes

3.     Choose “Microsoft sharepoint Foundation list”
4.     Input your site collection

5.     Choose list to import data
6.     Finish
7.     Drag and drop data from External data to images follows as:
8.     File >> Save & Send >> Save to Sharepoint >> Web Drawing >> Save As
9.     File is saved
10.  Add web part Visio Web Access
11.  Error
12.  Create Visio Graphics Service
13.  Fill information



14.  Make sure Visio Graphics Service Proxy is started

15.  And Visio Graphics Service at service on server is started

16.  Go to central admin >> under Service Applications click to “Configure service application associations “ >> Click to custom of your web application
17.  Check to Connection to Visio Service Application
18.  Refresh page again, and result as
19.  You can click to file directly
